The inaugural Essence Festival Durban, will be held from November 8-13, 2016. The first-ever Essence Festival Durban—the sister event to the annual Essence Festival New Orleans—will feature international performers, world-renowned speakers and local artists.
Africa’s Women decade presents a renewed opportunity for further realization and improvement of women participation. The Essence Festival Brand unapologetically focuses on women empowerment. This will also be an opportunity to look into the ” The Status of Women in the South African Economy” report.

The Healthy Lifestyle Exhibition can be found inside the Durban Exhibition Centre as part of the SMME Fair from 09:00 until 17:00. (Entrance is free). Please join us for a chat or to support the activations taking place throughout the day.

The Healthy Lifestyle Aerobathon will take place from 08:00 to 14:00 at New Beach where more than 2000 participants will be exercising to moves and grooves by international instructors including USA’s Shaun T. Witness the biggest mass gathering of aerobics enthusiast ever seen on the continent, in one place.
