Sidewalk Monitor Arrests Suspect
On Monday morning the 20th of August, quick thinking by Sidewalk Monitor Bafana Sikhakhane led to the arrest of a suspect following a break-in at a residential unit at the corner of Florida Rd and Lambert Rd. Get full details about the incident by clicking here.
Super Mama Race 2018

Removal Of Tree On 9th Avenue
The eThekwini Municipality’s (eTM) Parks Department began removing a tree on 9th Ave outside Sinderellas on the 16th of August. The tree was removed as it was located on both a public and private boundary and was damaging the boundary wall. Follow the Florida Rd UIP Facebook and Instagram pages.
Fallen Branch Removed
A big thank you to the eThekwini Municipality’s (eTM) Parks Department for their prompt response in removing the fallen branch at the corner of Florida Road and Woodley Crescent. The branch was broken off the tree after a truck clipped it on Sunday the 12th of August. Get the latest Florida Rd news here.

The Florida Rd UIP would like to welcome CraftsMen Food onto the Florida Rd Exchange. Doors officially opened on Saturday the 4th of August at 4pm!
CraftsMen Food started in 2015 with a food truck and built their way up focusing on the concept of low and slow barbecue. Read more about CraftsMen Food’s beginnings.
